About Us

Welcome to All My Cravings

We’re Joanna and Remo—a wife and husband duo obsessed with good food, simple ingredients, and turning everyday cravings into recipes you’ll actually want to make.

I (Joanna) do most of the cooking, writing, and testing around here. I’m a cookbook author, ex-software developer, and comfort food enthusiast who’s been blogging for over a decade (you may know me from Jo Cooks and Craving Home Cooked). I’ve spent years simplifying complicated recipes so they’re actually doable at home—without compromising flavor. Every recipe I share here has been tested, tweaked, and taste-tested to perfection… usually by Remo.

Speaking of Remo—he’s the magic behind the scenes. From setting up cameras and tech gear to dealing with accounting and the back-end things I pretend don’t exist anymore (bless him), he makes this whole blog run. He’s also a serious sandwich guy. If there’s bread involved, he’s there. And while he doesn’t cook as often as I do, when he does, I happily take a seat.

We’re both Romanian, and our love of food runs deep. Remo grew up with a mom who made incredible meals daily, and when we got married, cooking became “our thing.” We love trying new dishes, recreating favorites, and occasionally arguing over how salty something should be (he’s always right, apparently).

Outside the kitchen, Remo’s the strong, silent type—with a heart that’s all-in. He’d give the shirt off his back and the last cookie on the plate to someone in need. While he might come off as tough at first, the truth is, he’s a softie at heart—especially when it comes to animals, helping others, and spoiling our dogs more than either of us would like to admit.

Our Food Philosophy

We believe food should be simple, satisfying, and a little indulgent. Life’s complicated enough—dinner doesn’t have to be. Whether it’s a one-pot creamy pasta, a cheesy bake that feeds a crowd, or a dessert that feels a little over the top (in the best way), our goal is to make recipes that work, taste amazing, and feel worth your time.

We’re not here for fussy, overcomplicated instructions or hard-to-find ingredients. We cook the way most people do—on busy weeknights, with a dog or two underfoot, and someone asking, “What’s for dinner?” before we’ve even opened the fridge.

Every recipe we share is tested, adjusted, and approved in our own kitchen—usually more than once, and always with honesty. If we don’t absolutely love it, it doesn’t go up. Period.

This blog isn’t about trends or perfection. It’s about those “oh wow” bites, the sauces you want to lick off your plate, and the kind of food people ask you to make again. Comfort food with a twist, decadent desserts that feel a little fancy but are secretly easy, and real recipes for real cravings—that’s what we’re all about.

Meet The Doodles

We can’t talk about our kitchen without mentioning our two biggest fans: Jack Ryan and Han Solo, our very loyal (and very spoiled) doodles.

Jack is the younger one—clingy, jealous, and utterly convinced that he is the star of this blog. He’s the kind of dog who makes prolonged eye contact with you while you’re stirring sauce, just in case something “accidentally” drops.

Solo is our calm, steady guy… until there’s a toy involved. No matter how tired he is, he’s always up for a game—and by game, we mean ruthlessly de-stuffing any plush thing that dares enter the house. Quiet, sweet, and on a mission to destroy fluff.

Together, they are our crumb patrol, floor cleaners, and emotional support team during recipe testing chaos. You may not see them in every photo, but trust us—they’re always just outside the frame, waiting for their moment.

We Moved to an Acreage!

Big skies, fresh air, and the sound of absolutely nothing—except maybe me yelling, “Remooooo, there’s something weird in the yard!”

We recently moved to an acreage, and while I’d love to say we know what we’re doing… we absolutely do not. If you’ve ever seen Green Acres, let’s just say I relate a little too much. I still love my coffee machine, my grocery delivery app, and indoor plumbing—but I’m also dreaming of chickens, building a greenhouse, and planting actual vegetables that didn’t come from a store.

This is all new for us, but that’s part of the charm. We’ll be sharing more soon, including photos of the property and updates as we figure it all out—possibly with dirt under our nails and a chicken or two running through the background. We have no idea what we’re doing… but we’re excited to learn.
